Spiritually healthy followers of Christ will express a love for God and His people as they pour out His love on the world.
You will notice that the resources listed all relate to one of these three dimensions of living a life of love.
We each have a propensity to gravitate to one of these, so keep in mind what was discerned during your personal assessment exercise and keep asking yourself, “What do I want to do? What am afraid to try? What might be helpful to experience?”
If you are not discerning a clear next step, why don’t you prayerfully consider if one of these two resources may be a good fit for you.
- 1. Practicing the Way course provides an eight-session overview of spiritual formation and what it means to practice the way of Jesus. The focus is on engaging and applying scripture in our daily lives. This course will also open the door to other resources exploring key spiritually sustaining practices.
- 2. Essentials of Faith is a growing resource that covers the essential truths of Christianity. It begins with six sessions on What is a Christian, but feel free to begin with one of the other topics in the series as well. The focus is on providing the information we need to better understand and embrace the faith that has been handed down to us. They send an email whenever a new topic is added.
Whether you are new to the faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, Practicing the Way and Essentials of Faith are two great places to start.

Your next step in discipleship is something you decide as you join with others in your community (small group) and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
