Covenant Church is a group of people who love God deeply,

which translates into action - in our church, in our community and in our world.

We believe people of all generations and nations bring unique contributions to our understanding of God,

and we long to vibrantly and fully reflect God's character.

"Who are we?" and "Why do we exist?"

We are His people. Jesus stands at the center of our church. He defines us. We recognize and celebrate Him as King and Lord. Through His sacrificial death He purchased our lives and reconciled us to God. We belong to Him. We are His.

We exist for His kingdom and His glory. As His people we are concerned, above all, with His work and His reputation in this world.

We are His people

who exist for His kingdom and His glory.

"What do we do?"

We strive to live a life of love:

Love Jesus: Our relationship with God starts with a step of faith. We recognize who Jesus is and entrust our lives to Him.

Love His people: We grow as God's people when together we worship, pray, study scripture, serve one another and share life together.

Pour out God's love on the world: Jesus sends us to the world. We are called to show the love of Jesus through acts of compassion and to speak of His love to people in our families, neighborhoods, workplaces and around the world.

"How do we do we live out our calling?"

Toward God:

We are expectant - we expect God to show up in our daily lives, as well as Sundays.

We are yielded - to what God wants, not what we want.

Toward Scripture and life of faith:

We are thoughtful - we take the Bible seriously, we seek to live out our faith thoughtfully.

Toward others:

We are intentional - we make the effort to know those in our Covenant family, our neighborhood, our community, our workplace.

We are gracious - we do not inisist on our own way.

And all this we seek to live out with a posture of Christ-like humility.

Covenant is made up of people of all ages, from all walks of life, from all across the country and all around the world. Many are life-long followers of Jesus, some are brand new to the faith and still others are actively exploring who Jesus is and what it would mean to follow him. All are welcome!

Loving, fun, faithful, gifted, gracious, engaged – those are just a few of the many words that describe the Covenant family.

And that’s just how we see ourselves – as family. We love being together, we linger after services to connect with each other, and we are blessed to be brothers and sisters.

Covenant Church would not work without the contributions of hundreds of volunteers and our staff. We love our people!
