This summer our denomination, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), wrestled with the challenging issue of same sex attraction - does God always remove sinful desires when a person comes to Christ? - and voted on the sensitive issue of whether or not a person who struggles with same-sex attraction without acting on it could be considered for ordination.
Headlines coming out of the General Assembly implied that the EPC has compromised the biblical position on homosexuality, paving the way for ordaining homosexuals.
