Thank you for supporting God's work through Covenant!
"We give because of the joy we experience in returning a portion of the lavish provision God extends to us.
We give because it changes our hearts and we see and hear how it's changing other people's hearts
in our community and around the world!"
-Covenant family member
Thank you so much for your support in our ministry. We consider each offering as a major blessing to what we are trying to accomplish. We have been called by God to do great things in and around our community and none of it would be possible without your financial support.
We thank God for our congregation every day. Without you all there would be no church. You are the church.

GIVING OPTIONS
Click on an option below to learn more.
Bank-to-Bank transfer / ACH
This is an online service that Covenant has made available to you for your convenience. Click the Give Here button above to give this way.
Additionally, giving can be processed through an individual Breeze account (either by logging into your account on the website or free smartphone app) and by entering relevant banking information for payment. Contributions through this process will be transferred directly from your bank account to Covenant’s bank account within two weeks. Gifts can be processed individually, or gifts can be set up on a recurring schedule.
Covenant is charged a 1% processing fee + $0.25 transaction fee for these gifts. You'll be given the option to cover the processing fee on Covenant's behalf.
Debit Card
This is another online service through Breeze, which allows gifts to be paid with a personal credit/debit card. Similar to the ACH option, this process can be used directly through the “Give Here" link.
Additionally, giving can be processed through an individual Breeze account (either by logging into your account on the website or free smartphone app) by entering your relevant credit/debit card information as the method of payment. Contributions with a credit/debit cards will be processed quicker than ACH transfers. Gifts can be processed individually, or set up on a recurring schedule.
Covenant is charged a 2.9% processing fee + $0.30 transaction for these gifts. You'll be given the option to cover the processing fee on Covenant's behalf.
Gifts can be placed in the offering plate, mailed to Covenant, or delivered personally during the week. Collected offering is typically processed on Monday mornings (unless there is a holiday), and the funds are deposited into Covenant’s bank account that same day. There are no specific banking charges/fees associated with this method of giving.
Note: please use a blue or black ballpoint pen when writing your check. Thank you!

This is a feature that you can set up through your bank, and is typically part of your normal banking service. To use this, set up Covenant Church as a recipient within your bank’s online bill pay service (typically you only need a name and address for this), and then payments (usually checks) will be sent by your bank to the church.
If possible, please note 'tithe,' 'general giving,' etc. as purpose for the check.
You can initiate this payment whenever you want, or schedule this payment on a recurring basis. Like the cash/check processing, these bank-generated checks will be processed with the offering on Monday mornings.

Gifts of accumulated stocks can be transferred to Covenant Church as a method of giving. With this approach, individuals are not responsible for any capital gains associated with accumulated stock gifts, and the gift amount is the full value of the stock/investment. If you are interested in this method of giving, please contact Donald, our treasurer, for more details about making the transfer.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
The following explanation for this option was found on the Fidelity website.
A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to a qualified charity. QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year, as long as certain rules are met.
In addition to the benefits of giving to charity, a QCD excludes the amount donated from taxable income, which is unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA. Keeping your taxable income lower may reduce the impact to certain tax credits and deductions, including Social Security and Medicare.
Also, QCDs don't require that you itemize, which due to the recent tax law changes, means you may decide to take advantage of the higher standard deduction, but still use a QCD for charitable giving.

Occasionally, Covenant also receives legacy gifts through an estate. These gifts may be arranged through somebody’s will, through beneficiary designation within a bank/investment account or life insurance policy, or through trusts associated with the estate. If you have considered legacy giving through estate planning, and would like to consider Covenant Church as a possible recipient, we would be happy to talk with you about your interests. Contact Donald, our treasurer.
Unless otherwise noted, legacy gifts are designated to the Covenant Kingdom Fund. See next tab for more information.

The Lord has blessed Covenant Church richly. In order to faithfully steward the gifts given to enhance and support our existing, and new, ministries with greater resources, the Session has established the Covenant Kingdom Fund (CKF).
The CKF was seeded with money from several existing accounts, such as the Trustees and Session funds, to which the Covenant family has donated in the past. Going forward the CKF will be funded by your legacy gifts such as donations from a will or trust, or from Qualified Charitable Distributions from retirement accounts. Our desire is that gifts given to the CKF be over and above any regular tithing that supports ongoing church operations.
To maximize the use of these resources, the CKF will be managed internally by a committee of Covenant elders, trustees, deacons and designated lay leaders. This approach allows us to eliminate external management fees.
Proposals to access these funds can be written by our ministry leaders. The CKF committee will carefully review proposals and may approve those consistent with our goal of nurturing, reaching out and spreading the Word of God. Progress of those programs which receive funding will be reviewed regularly to ensure the funds are being used as intended.
Please talk with one of our elders, trustees or ministry leaders to learn more about how your gifts can be used to grow Covenant’s ministries and glorify our God.
"I feel it a privilege to tithe each week and
God has blessed us for my faithfully honoring Him.
He gives back far more than I can give."

I (we) give because we receive so much in return:
the rich Word of God; fellowship with other believers;
caring, compassion and concern from congregants;
and a place where we feel at “home”.
