We’ve just completed a seven week series called Ascent: following Moses up the path to deeper intimacy with God. In that series, we joined Moses and the Israelites at the foot of Mount Sinai, and watched as God revealed His holy and loving character to Moses and His people and invited them to learn how to approach him in worship and adoration.
In our new series, we pick up on the theme of worship and intimacy with God and move from the Old Testament to the New. Seven Summits: elevating our worship life explores the most important passages about worship in the New Testament.
The name comes from the mountain climbing challenge of ascending to the peak of the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.
Some of those peaks, such as Everest, Denali, and Kilimanjaro, are familiar; others are less so. The passages we’ll be exploring in this series can be found all throughout the New Testament, from the gospels to Revelation. Some will be very familiar, others will be less so.*
We pray you’ll join us – in person or online, in town or away – each Sunday during this series, and that you will prayerfully allow God to use this conversation to continue to deepen your worship life and your intimacy with Him.

*You may have noticed we will actually explore eight passages in this series. Interestingly, most mountain climbers include the Pacific Shelf region alongside the seven continents, adding an eighth peak to the Seven Summit challenge.
