We have immediate openings in the following areas. If any of these peak your interest, please let us know on the form below. Thank you!


Children's Ministry:


  • Electronic Check In: Welcome guests by giving them a welcome bag, help families check in and find their classrooms. Volunteers serve once a month before second service (10:15-10:45am). 4 openings
  • Toddler Room:* Love on and teach Covenant's littlest ones! Volunteers serve once a month during the 10:30am service. Minimal prep - about 10 minutes to look over lesson before Sunday. 8 openings
  • PreK Helper:*  Love on our preschoolers and assist those children who need extra help by either sitting with them during the teaching time or taking them to the sensory room. 5 openings

Sunday Mornings:

  • Front Porch Ministry: Greet people coming to Covenant with a cheerful smile and by opening the outside doors for them. These volunteers serve outside before one of the services and help people find their way on our campus. 4 openings
  • Emergency Response Volunteer (ERV):** Patrol our campus during one of the services, keeping an eye out for those who might need medical help or need extra attention. Medical or security background helpful. Training provided. 3 openings
  • Communion Set Up / Clean Up: Prepare communion for our Covenant family once a month. Preparation can happen before Sunday morning. Clean up happens after the second service, about 11:45am.

*For the safety of our children, these volunteers must fill out an application, and go through a background check, an interview, reference check and video training.

**These volunteers complete a brief questionnaire and go through a background check.





Shalom for the City

We invite you to be the hands and heart of Jesus to children at risk through our Shalom for the City ministry.

Greater Lafayette

Through our missions team, we financially support many local agencies in the Greater Lafayette area. We also have Covenant members who regularly volunteer with many of these agencies.
