Wait - can you go over the morning schedule again? This 10:25am start time is confusing.
Sure! Here's the Sunday morning schedule:
9:00am - full Sunday morning service, livestreamed on our website and Facebook. No one in the building except those participating in leading the service. At the strong recommendation of our medical advisory team, ONLY those leading the service are allowed in the building during this service.
10:25am - modified Sunday morning service, with a limited number of participants live, in the Sanctuary. Reservations required. This service is NOT livestreamed.
10:45am - replay of our 9:00am service, livestreamed on our website and Facebook.
Why do the reservations close Wednesday night?
Closing reservations on Wednesday night gives our facilities team time to set up the Sanctuary for Sunday.
I've been exposed to someone with Covid-19 within the past 14 days, but I've been tested and it came back negative. Can I still come?
On the advice of our medical advisory team, we have to ask that you wait the full 14 days after being exposed before coming to the Covenant campus. We recognize this is hard. Please choose to stay home out of love for your Covenant family.
How many people will be in the Sanctuary?
We are limiting the number of people who can sign up to a number that can comfortably fit in our Sanctuary with social distancing measures in place. Generally, this will be between 60 and 80 people.
Can we sing behind our masks?
Yes! Please do!
After signing up, will we have assigned group seating for families?
Yes. Our Wednesday deadline for Sunday reservations will allow our facilities team to set up the Sanctuary for Sunday morning to accomodate the family groupings who've registered for that week.
What if I can't come? Do I need to cancel?
If it's before Wednesday at 10:00pm, please do so by going to the reservation page and clicking on your reservation. A pop-up box will appear, with "Remove Registration" as an option. Click that button, and your seats are freed up for someone else.
Will someone show us where our family is designated to sit?
Yes. We will have volunteers who will show you where to sit.
How far apart will the groupings be?
We plan to have 10 feet between each group.
Will we all come in the same door?
Yes. Everyone will enter through Door 2, the main Sanctuary door. If you have mobility issues, you may enter through Door 3, our handicap door.
If so, will there be a line to get in? How will we know how far apart to stand if we are in a line?
There could be a line. And just as in the grocery store, we will have places marked on the ground to space everyone out.
What if I need to go to the bathroom while there?
We will have the set of bathrooms closest to the Sanctuary open (just inside Door 1). We haven't worked out all the details yet, so please plan ahead to use the bathroom before you come. That would be much appreciated.
Will the groups be released by an "official" after the service in order to exit the building?
We will dismiss the groups at the back of the Sanctuary first, and ask that groups allow plenty of space between them while exiting.
Will people be required to wear masks outside under the tents?
Yes. Please wear your masks while on the Covenant campus - both inside and outside.
What about small children? Will they be allowed to run around, intermingling with different groups in the tent?
No. Please keep children with your family as you talk with others under the tent. We recommend preparing your children in advance for this. And, if this is too difficult for your children (parents, we know this is HARD!), please consider skipping the time under the tent out of love for your Covenant family.
Will there be any kind of food or beverage in the tent?
No. Covenant will not have any food or beverages available on our campus. And with masks required, it doesn't really make sense for you to bring in your own unless absolutely necessary.
Will there be chairs under the tent?
No. Covenant will not provide chairs. You're welcome to bring your own lawn chair and get it from your car after the service.
