God placed us in family. First, into a family of origin. And once we've chosen Jesus as our Savior, into a spiritual family. We have a richer and more complete experience in a family of multiple generations. We need the enthusiasm and energy of younger generations as well as the wisdom and maturity of older generations. As with a family of origin, life in a spiritual family can be messy. And it is worth it! When you come to Covenant, we hope you encounter trasnparent, authentic people who are working out together what it means to follow Jesus.

We believe the Bible is trustworthy and authoritative, so you will hear a message preached from God's word on Sunday mornings.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

God is King. And He has given us the privilege and responsibility to approach His throne with praise, requests and supplications. God is King, yet His kingdom has not yet arrived on earth. We recognize the brokenness, the difficulties and the power of the Holy Spirit to step into hard places and work miracles. Sunday mornings, we pray regularly for our church family, our Greater Lafayette community and our world.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  - Philippians 4:6-7
