Missions Week Opportunities
Every Knee Shall Bow, Every Tongue Confess - Missions Celebration Sunday just got exponentially bigger! Isn't that how God acts? Just when we thought Covid would interrupt our normal Missions Celebration Sunday, God instead has provided a full week of opportunities for everyone in our congregation to learn, grow, inspire and encourage! It's unprecedented! It's huge!
Pick two! Browse the exciting options below. We are asking every Covenant attender to choose and commit to two ways to participate in Missions Celebration Week. Our goal is to honor and encourage our missionaries and give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in what your church is doing through our partners here in Greater Lafayette and around the world.

Monday, March 8 (2 events)
- 7:00pm: Seekers in Seattle, Inquirers in Indiana - How Covenant Sent Missionaries Are Engaging 20 Somethings Around the State and Nation
Matt Hudson (Navigators in Seattle) will introduce us to several impacted by their ministry to young seekers in the Seattle area, and his wider work with the Navs. Ryan Speicher- (Cru in the Indy area) will give updates on their multi-campus ministry as they continue to navigate the challenges of the pandemic. Scott Harris (InterVaristy based in Ft. Wayne) will give us the bigger picture of their work around the country as well as insights from his very hands-on ministry with students and refugees.

Hear how God is transforming the lives of men struggling with addictions through testimonies and more. God is at work in amazing ways in and through these men and their families.

- 7:00pm: Daniel & Coreen Esplin - Training Native Americans to Reach Native Americans and Overcome the "White Man's Gospel"
Daniel (Navajo) and Coreen (Seneca) serve at Indian Bible College of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff training and discipling Native Americans for ministry. Native American believers reaching and discipling their own people is critical to many Natives coming to faith in Christ and for the growth of the Native Church. Many Native Americans see Christianity as a "white man's religion" and a symbol of oppression of their people.

John and Ahmed (Navigators, “Nation Within” focus area) provide training to churches interested in helping their Muslim friends better understand the claims of the Messiah. Come learn some of their disciple-making methods, strategies and what they call Kingdom Keys.

- 7:00pm: Jamaican Jamboree - A Celebration of God’s Work in Jamaica and Virtual Discussion of our Partnerships
An online video call with our ministry partners there, and a discussion of what’s happening in Jamaica; how they’re coping with COVID, what’s changed since our last trip there, how we can continue to partner with them, and praying for Jamaica and our missions partnerships there.
