Your Financial Gifts Make an Eternal Difference

About 350 days ago, we started our 2018-2019 fiscal year with an aggressive target of $2,222,000 for our ministry efforts. We have only a few days remaining in our fiscal year, which ends on June 30.

As of June 16, year-to-date giving was $2,002,014, which represents about 90% of our year-end target. The good news is that year-end expenses are projected to be about $2,150,000, $72,000 below budget.

Unfortunately, year-end giving is projected to be about $2,053,500, which is $96,500 behind projected expenses.

Your financial gifts support approximately 50 ministry initiatives including World Welcome, Grow Groups, and Biblical Mentoring. Additionally, 20% of your giving provides financial support to approximately 85 different missionaries connected to 44 missionary and relief organizations, across six focus areas.

What difference is this making among us and in our world?

Picture with us:

·         the young Moms who participate in MOPS, gathering twice a month to encourage one another and to be encouraged by older Moms

·         the children and families at Murdock during Trunk or Treat and the Christmas Dinner, thoroughly enjoying games, food, and relational connections

·         the Covenant family getting equipped to share life and Jesus with those around us through the teaching of Doug Pollock

·         and more and more! So many opportunities to Know Jesus, Grow with His People, and Go to the World.

If we consider God’s work through the Covenant family in light of the financial gifts you provide, it’s not an overstatement to acknowledge that God is changing and transforming the lives of tens of thousands of people here and around the world. Lives that we read about weekly through the eNews!

Covenant family, you understand the privilege that it is to give. You are joyful and gracious givers—thank you! We look forward to how God will work through each one of us during the final days of our fiscal year.

God calls each of us to give in different ways, and at different levels; most importantly He calls all of us to give back to His Kingdom with our treasures.

May God continue to grow our generosity and the joy that goes along with it!
