2018 Christmas Offering Report

Each Christmas, the Covenant family gives generously to a special Christmas offering fund. That Christmas fund has been used in many beautiful ways to support missionaries and special missions projects.

Last year, part of your Christmas offering purchased bibles for our missions partners with the International Needs in Romania, Turkey and Kenya to use in ministry.

One person who received a Bible through your gifts is Hasan, a student in Turkey.

"Hasan is 19 years old and is preparing for university. He learned about the local church through social media. With deep curiosity, he reached out. One of the church planters met with Hasan, shared the gospel with him and gave him his own Bible. Hasan has accepted Christ and told his family that he is attending church. This young man has the courage to walk in faith."

You can read more stories about those who received Bibles through International Needs here.

The second part of the 2018 Christmas offering built a basketball court at the Windsor Lodge Children's Home in Jamaica in memory of Zach Hyde, a Covenant teen killed in a car crash in July of 2018. That court is complete, and the children at Windsor Lodge have been so blessed by a safe and dry place to play.
