Senior High Ministry
The Senior High Ministry at Covenant is centered on the theme of “Making Faith Their Own.” Senior high students (9th-12th grade) are at a time in life where the world encourages them to question the reality of Christ. Our desire is to create a safe environment where students can ask tough questions and find peace in the life-giving answers Jesus offers. We want our times together to be a fun place where students can grow in who Christ is making them to be. It is our joy in senior high ministry to encourage students on THE JOURNEY to be “making faith in Christ their own.”
Ministry to Parents and Families
Parents with Teens Class - Don’t Waste Your Sports! February 12 the parents with teens class will begin a short series looking at the place of sports in the Christian life. Join us in GP 3 at 9:00. The class will be led by Marshall and Terry Overley.
Special Events
Ranging from summer camp to picking up trash for the community, these events are designed to encourage us to be more like Jesus on "The Journey."
Colorado Challenge - June 29-July 8th. The cost of the trip is $450 if you sign up with a $100 deposit by March 15th, $550 if deposit is turned in by May 15th, and $600 if turned in after May 15th. Click here for the Registration form!

Fundraisers
Fundraisers make summer trips affordable for our students!
April 29 - May 20 - Pizza Kit Sales! Purchase Little Caesars pizzas, cookie dough, pretzels, or pies from individual students or at the table by the Receptionist's Desk on Sunday mornings. Pizza Kits will be available for pick-up from the Covenant kitchen on May 31st at 9am. Check out what's available on the menu here!
May 18 - Chick Fil A fundraising night. Show up any time from 5-8pm and let them know you are there for the Covenant fundraiser! A portion of your sale will be donated to our Colorado trip!
June 7-9 - Doing some spring cleaning? Feeling the urge to purge? The Covenant Sr. High Youth and Family Ministry is having their BIG SALE Thursday June 7-Saturday June 9th and we want your cast-offs! We will begin accepting your donations Monday June 4th. Just bring * whatever* to the Retreat Center.....we take furniture, clothing, shoes, purses, lamps, cups, antiques, tools, toys, books, jewelry....anything that is decently clean!

Journey (Youth Group) Students gather to connect and enjoy life together. This activity-driven time is a great place to bring our friends for the first time - Sunday Evenings, 7:00-8:30pm

True North (Bible Study) Here we are looking at how Jesus wants to mold us through worship, prayer, and discovering the depth of God’s Word - Wednesday Evenings, 7:00-8:30pm at the Retreat Center

Regular Gatherings
Compass Groups (Small groups) These gender-based groups meet throughout the week to grow closer to the Lord Jesus and one another through fun, study, and prayer.
Opportunities to Serve
Mentor a same gender student one-on-one
Drop off snacks any time at the Retreat Center - we are always in need of chips, sweets, drinks, and fruit!
Serve with special events -- come alongside the ministry on special occasions
Pray for students - regularly lift five students up in prayer
Lead a Compass Group -- help us care for a small group of guys or girls
