Who are we?
We are Growing Followers of Christ Reaching Past Ourselves.
Our God-given vision for this church and the center of who we are is: Growing Followers of Christ Reaching Past Ourselves. Jesus didn’t come to make believers; He came to produce followers of Christ, men and women and children who not only believe that eternal life is found in Him, but who have relinquished themselves to His lordship and given Him the last word in their lives.
Furthermore, our growth is not complete if we are not reaching past ourselves to those whom God has placed around us. It isn’t just about us and our personal growth. Our ministry is ultimately for the sake of those with whom we live and work and study and it is to them that God has called us.
Every ministry of this church is concerned in some way with making this vision a reality, whether through worship and prayer, education and Biblical integration, relationships of mutual care, ministries of service, or outreaches of evangelism and compassion that take us out into the world.
The greatest adventure of life is the adventure of saying yes to God and following Him into the life He designed for us.
Life is never the same once He steps in. All of life turns on its head, and we get swept up into something far greater than ourselves. And it isn’t only life that changes. We ourselves will never be the same – and yet we will be more ourselves than we ever were before.
